They don’t make a bunch of hoppy beers.

All of their Beer is made on-site on our European made 15 Barrel Brewing system – that’s 465 gallons of well-crafted beer every time they brew.

They are now bottling some of our limited edition beers in large format bottles AND they have started canning our core beers.

Local and Locally Owned

They are in the heart of Ghent, close to Downtown Norfolk, the lively NEON Arts District and within a short distance of all of the most popular attractions in Norfolk.

They’re not huge – and they aren’t owned by a big company – or even a bunch of investors.

Meet The Team

Kevin Erskine

Owner, President

Kevin has been involved in the beer, wine & spirits industry for over 13 years – as a business owner, consultant, distiller, importer, brewer, writer, critic, and as the first American judge in the Whisky category of the prestigious International Wine & Spirits Competition .

Kevin also serves as Co-Chair of the Marketing & Tourism Committee of the Virginia Craft Brewers Guild.

Matt Topping

Director of Brewing Operations

Matt is a native of Virginia and got his start in the Beer industry working for bottle shops while attending Virginia Tech in Blacksburg.

From there he moved on to work at Bell’s Brewery in Michigan and then spent the next few years working in paradise at Maui Brewing Co.

He’s now back in Virginia to lead our brewing efforts.
